Today makes it THREE weeks since my cousin died. I'm not even sure that I can blog about this but I think I need to do so anyway. I'm chronicling my cousin's last days ... Monday 26th October 2009 My Aunt calls me to let me know that my cousin, ACR, has ingested poison. The poison in question is gramoxone aka "indian tonic" as it's called in Trinidad. The other name is paraquat. ACR called her mother at around 1:30 pm to tell her where she is, which is behind SRV's house and that she has ingested the deadly weedicide. ACR's mother called her son and my aunt to let them know what happened. My aunt works two minutes away from where ACR was. She, her principal and another teacher went to ACR's aid. My aunt found my cousin, clad in only a jeans and a bra inside the road. She had just stumbled out of the Cocoa fields in front of the car.
